HOD – Pre Press (Typesetting) Full Time

∙Oversee the pre-press department to guarantee operational efficacy and superior output quality.
∙Supervise the typesetting and layout of a varied array of publications, including books, magazines, and marketing
materials.
∙Develop and hone standard operating procedures for all pre-press activities.
∙Work in close association with graphic designers, editors, and production managers to manage production
schedules and uphold quality standards.
∙Approve final proofs prior to printing, confirming all components are accurately formatted and devoid of errors.
∙Mentor team members in the application of cutting-edge software and typesetting technologies, promoting
ongoing professional growth.
∙Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to enhance departmental performance and
innovation.
∙Manage budgeting, procurement of materials, and upkeep of departmental equipment.
∙Innovate and implement new development ideas.
∙Manage and coordinate with the Press, Post Press, and Dispatch departments to ensure a seamless workflow
from pre-press to delivery.
∙Oversee the Proof-Reading department to ensure all text is error-free and adheres to the highest standards
before publication.
